Moving services are so much more than physical transportation because it is a psychological process that profoundly impacts our well-being.  My professional moving services include downsizing, move service selection with coordination, packing, unpacking, recommended design plans for the new home, and post-move services.  I take care of hauling away donations and disposals; and manage arrangements for storage when required.  As someone who has managed several personal moves, I enjoy navigating these processes and removing the stress from this experience for others.  Packages cover the full spectrum of the moving journey to include cleaning services for your move-out and move-in.  I will even clear-out the pantry and refrigerator for the move-out and fill them for the move-in!

Senior Moves

When I started my professional organizing business, I did so without having a specific niche interest.  However, it took only a short time to learn that I have a natural understanding of the unique needs of senior citizens when moving and enjoy managing the entire process to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition.  Of course, moving can be an overwhelming experience for anyone, but it can be particularly challenging and emotional for seniors.

During this significant life change, I know that clear communication is essential to minimize anxiety.  That is why I enjoy serving as the Move Manager and the Professional Organizer for the entire process.  Without a Move Manager, the moving process could require coordinating with numerous services, including an organizer for downsizing and donating/disposing, packing and moving service, transportation service, and a cleaner.  As the Manager for the entire move, I am your primary contact.

 

I create customized and detailed moving plans, which include the essential details and timelines for the moving service coordination, packing needs for fragile and sentimental items, transportation arrangements, packing, unpacking, and special accommodations.  In summary, I take care of everything from selecting the moving company, downsizing, donating, packing, and deep move-out cleaning to making the beds, hanging the artwork, and filling the refrigerator at the new residence.

 

I am a visual person with an exceptional talent for designing and staging spaces for each client’s style while recognizing mobility needs.  I enjoy helping clients select their household items for their new place, so I work collaboratively to provide a fully staged plan that factors in their access needs for closets, cabinets, and drawers.

 

My services span the settling-in period, post move-in day.  I recognize this phase of the transition is crucial, and adjustments are typically necessary to ensure that each client is comfortable and functional in their new space.
